Not much fun to use, but if you take credit cards they are a necessity.

What do you do with cards that won't swipe through your terminal?  If you aren't getting a manual or electronic imprint, you are setting yourself up for chargebacks.

Having an imprinter near each of your terminals is a must.  There are innumerable systems that must operate flawlessly for you to process a credit card.  Don't get caught without a manual imprinter.
